Biography

Christine Spiten is a tech-entrepreneur, research expedition leader and environmental advisor.
She co-founded Blueye Robotics in 2015, developing underwater drones for inclusive Ocean exploration. Recently she joined World Wildlife Fund as senior advisor in Circular Economy to fight over-use of plastics in the corporate- and sports sector. Christine is also Co-Captain on EntrepreneurShip One; taking onboard the largest ocean challenges & propelling technology-based solutions. This summer she will lead an all-female international sailing expedition investigating the connection between marine pollution and people’s health.
Christine has been awarded by Forbes Magazine as one of ’30 under 30 most important Tech Founders’ og ‘World’s Top 50 Women in Tech 2018’, ‘Norway’s 50 most important female tech founders’ 2017 + 2018, and ‘Top 10 Norwegian Female Tech-Entrepreneurs 2018,.
