SIGEF in Davos: Supportive Vision for a Better World
Sharing the same concerns and goals with the leaders of the global economy who will be gathering in Davos to pave the way “for a Cohesive and Sustainable World”, SIGEF has opted to showcase its own commitment to sustainability through the organization of a one-day side-event in Davos to offer a complementary and supportive vision for a better world.
SIGEF, the Social Innovation and Global Ethics Forum, is an International event organized by Horyou, the Social Network for Social Good. Its purpose is to promote the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as to foster the advancement of disruptive technologies, innovation and social entrepreneurship that aim to enforce social and economic inclusion and help shape a smarter future for all.
SIGEF’s previous editions include Geneva 2014 & 2015, Marrakesh 2016 (official side-event of the United Nations Conference of the Parties – COP22), Astana 2017 (concurring with the Future Energy International Expo 2017), Singapore 2018, and Tokyo 2019. SIGEF always stages an exceptional line-up of world-renowned speakers while offering incomparable networking opportunities. It sets grounds for the interaction of government authorities, business executives, international organizations’ representatives and academia, to reflect upon and share views and propositions on critical contemporary issues including the Future of Finance, Disruptive Technologies, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and Women Empowerment.
